Head coach Jennifer Rockwood is now a seven-time coach of the year honoree after leading her team to a successful season. This is the fourth time she earned the honors from the WCC (2012, 14, 18, 19). Following her 25th season, she now boasts a 396-114-44 overall record for a .755 winning percentage.

In addition to Rockwood’s conference award, the coaching staff was recognized for the impressive season as they were named the United Soccer Coaches Regional Staff of the Year.

WCC play kicked off at Santa Clara as the Cougars claimed their only tie of the season. After falling behind 2-0, BYU fought back to even the game and stay undefeated on the year. The Cougars went on to win the next eight games to take the conference title while outscoring their opponents 39-6 in league action.
